Kids n'Joy was born from a simple belief: that parents deserve to relax while their children thrive. We created a space in the heart of Crouch End where both happen at once.
How it all began
As a mother and entrepreneur, I kept searching for a place where I could bring my daughter and actually enjoy the time — somewhere with great coffee, real food, and a play space that wasn't chaotic or overwhelming.
I couldn't find it. So I built it myself.
In March 2024, Kids n'Joy opened its doors at 9 Park Road in Crouch End. Every detail — the marble tables, the globe lights, the colourful play area downstairs — was chosen with intention and, honestly, with my own two hands.
More than a cafe
From the start, Kids n'Joy has been a community. We host workshops, birthday celebrations, after-school clubs, and events for mum founders through our Mums Who Build series.
Our in-cafe boutique showcases products from local makers and mum-led brands — because we believe in lifting each other up.
Every cup of coffee served here supports a family-friendly space that Crouch End can be proud of.
