We want every party at Kids n'Joy to be safe, fun and stress-free. Please share these with all guests before the day.
👟 Play area safety
- Socks must be worn by all children and adults in the play area at all times — no bare feet, no shoes
- Children must remove shoes before entering and put them back on as soon as they leave
- No climbing on the outside of equipment or jumping from height
- Rough play, pushing or shoving is not permitted
- Adults must supervise children at all times
- Play area is for children aged 0–10 (Pizza Party: ages 5–12)
🍽️ Food & drink
- No outside food or drink may be brought in without prior agreement
- Your own birthday cake is always welcome — please let us know in advance
- Please ensure food provided for children is not consumed by adults
- Please notify us of any allergies or dietary requirements before the party
- No alcohol may be brought onto the premises
🎈 Decorations
- You're very welcome to bring your own decorations
- Confetti, confetti balloons and bubbles are not permitted anywhere on the premises
- Party poppers, confetti bombs and glitter are not permitted
- All decorations you bring must be taken with you when you leave
🤒 Health & illness
- Please do not attend if any child or adult has experienced vomiting, diarrhoea or fever within 48 hours
- Anyone showing symptoms on the day will be asked to leave to protect other families
- If your child is unwell before the party, contact us — we'll always try to find an alternative date
📸 Photography & conduct
- Photography of your own children and family is warmly welcome
- Please be mindful of other families — do not photograph other people's children without consent
- Kids n'Joy reserves the right to ask guests not following our rules to leave
- We accept no liability for loss or damage to personal property
💳 Payments & cancellations
- A £150 deposit is required to secure your date — deducted from your total package price
- The remaining balance is due 7 days before your party
- Full refund if cancelled more than 14 days before the party
- Non-refundable for cancellations within 14 days
- Date changes are subject to availability — please give as much notice as possible
🏠 Venue & capacity
- Parties are available 7 days a week from 3pm, subject to availability
- Every party is 2 hours — additional time can be added for £100 per hour, subject to availability
- Early access (30 minutes) is for the booking party only
- Maximum guest numbers must not exceed those stated in your package
- Kids n'Joy is a nut-aware venue — please check with us about allergens before bringing outside food
- All guests must check in with the party host on arrival
When can parties take place?
Parties are available 7 days a week from 3pm. Simply pick your preferred date when booking — weekdays and weekends both welcome.
How long is a party? Can we stay longer?
Every party is 2 hours, typically 3pm–5pm. If you'd like more time, extra hours can be added for £100 per hour, subject to availability — just let us know when booking.
Can adults stay during the party?
Absolutely — parents and guardians are very welcome to stay and enjoy the café space throughout. All adults must wear socks in the play area.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes! You're welcome to bring your own birthday cake — please let us know in advance and we'll keep it safe until it's time to sing.
Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own decorations. Please note that confetti, confetti balloons and bubbles are not permitted anywhere on the premises, and all decorations must be taken with you at the end of the party.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food and drink is generally not permitted without prior agreement. Your birthday cake is always welcome. Please speak to us in advance if you have specific requirements.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are fully refundable if cancelled more than 14 days before the party. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. We'll always try our best to accommodate date changes where possible.
What about allergies?
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. We take allergen management seriously and will do everything we can to accommodate your needs safely.
What ages are the parties for?
Joy, Bloom and Magic are designed for children aged 1–10. The Pizza Party is for ages 5–12.
What's the difference between Bloom and Magic?
Both include the play area, host, decorations, juice for kids and shared pizza for up to 20 children. Magic additionally includes party bags for every child and a mixed sandwich platter for parents.
